Massage aims to relax muscle tension and improve lymphatic and blood circulation through mild pressure applied to the muscle groups of the body.

contraindications for prenatal massage:

Women who have recently experienced bleeding, pre-term contractions, or have any of the following conditions should speak with a health care provider prior to receiving a massage:

1- High risk pregnancy
2- Abdominal pain
3- Severe Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD)
4- Pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH)
5- Preeclampsia
6- Diabetes and Gestational Diabetes
7- Pre-eclampsia, Eclampsia and HELLP
8- Obstetric Cholestasis ( liver disorder)
9- Previous pre-term labour
10- Experiencing severe swelling, high blood pressure, severe headaches
11- Recently gave birth
12- Miscarriage
